Happy New Zodiac Sign.....mix.....!?!?
Yeah, I'm confused by it too.
So, in honor of the apparent nationwide confusion concerning zodiac signs and the new year, NEW ASHY MIX!! And if there was ever a mix that showcased how bad my "music A.D.D." is, it's potentially this one. Admittedly with good results, but still. I'm also for the first time posting a playlist. Not really for your convenience, but more for mine so I don't have to deal with the headache of replying to countless emails about "What song was the song right after the _____ song on the mix from 4 months ago?" ya dig?

ReplyDelete1. your mixes are bangin, but this is ashy radio! you should dedicate 1 day or 1 mix a month (or whatever) to indie artists that make the ashy radio hosts cut as good artists! it would be like DJ Raze's mix tape of dope Cream City Artists (could be from rappers to R&B to spoken word)
2. you should allow ppl to sign in using their social profiles too. i know it would be easier for me to sign in if i could use my facebook or myspace or twitter account. i mean you don't even have a way to sign in using a yahoo I.D.!! or is your intention to only allow android users on here (google accnt).... just a thought!

ReplyDelete1. While I would LOVE to dedicate entire mixes & at very least include more indie music, I can only mix what I have. We are a very indie friendly family here, so any artists that are willing to submit music for write ups, reviews, critique, or just to be in the mix, are more than welcome to send those mp3, wav or download links to AshyRadioSubs@gmail.com anytime.
2. That's not something that is within my control. It's a boundary (I don't wanna say limitation) of the web engine this blog site is built on. I've checked out wordpress.com and they have more or less the same options. While I agree, that WOULD be dope, there's a lot of cross platform coding that would require, which would require licensing and other crap. The idea of the log-in process having anything to do with the Android mobile platform is, no offense, foolish and preposterous. What the hell does Android have to do with us running a functional, and hopefully successful BLOG? When you comment, you can use either your Gmail, Live Journal, wordpress or AIM log-in IDs. So you've got options, just as your particular option of commenting ANONYMOUS.

the android things was just a joke from an android loving individual so it was supposed to be preposterous - i guess humor doesn't come off too well in written format.
