True Skool DJing and Music Production Classes!! FREE!!!

DJ Classes start Saturday February 19th, 2011 from 1:00-3:00pm
Students in the DJ Class will earn a certificate of completion after learning basic DJ skills and how to use the DJ equipment. Students will perform a 10 minute DJ set at the Certificate Ceremony which takes place off site after the last session. Youth ages 14-18 years old can sign up by emailing us the information listed below. You MUST pre-register for this class. This session is only accepting 10 students and lasts 10 weeks. Participants are required to complete 5 hours of community service during the session with TRUE Skool in order to take this class for free and not miss more than 2 classes or their spot can be given to someone on the waiting list. The service hours can be completed before or after the DJ Classes on Saturdays or after school until 8pm on Wednesdays starting in February.

Music Production/Recording Classes starts Wednesday February 16th, 2011 from 5:00pm-7:00pm
Students will work on a TRUE Skool mixtape, learning how to write and record original music and beats and how to use basic recording equipment and software. Youth ages 14-18 years old can sign up by emailing us the information listed below. You MUST pre-register for this class. This session is only accepting 10 students and lasts 10 weeks. Participants are required to complete 5 hours of community service during the session with TRUE Skool in order to take this class for free and not miss more than 2 classes or their spot can be given to someone on the waiting list. The service hours can be completed before or after the Music Production Classes on Wednesdays or on a Saturday between 1-3pm starting in February.
